Jacob Blackett

Originally from Reno, Nevada, Jacob began his real estate career in 2010 as a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Reno, when he bought and sold his first two residential fix-and-flip properties in Southern California. Since moving to the Midwest in 2012, Jacob has placed over $50 million into income-producing real estate and founded Holdfolio in October 2014 on the basis of creating partnerships to profit from real estate.

As Founder and CEO of SponsorCloud, Jacob has built a technology company that delivers end-to-end capital raising solutions to fund managers and deal sponsors. Today, over 750 firms representing more than $10 billion in investor capital rely on SponsorCloud to raise more capital, streamline operations, and stay compliant through the platform's integrated suite of software and professional services.

As Founder and Managing Partner of Holdfolio, Jacob has built a real estate investment platform focused on private real estate syndications. Since launching in 2014, the firm has built a portfolio worth over $3 billion and helped investors earn average annualized returns exceeding 20% across more than 60 private offerings.

Jacob is driven by a mission to modernize how capital is raised and invested, creating solutions that shape the future of real estate and private markets. At Holdfolio, he primarily focuses on property acquisitions, financial planning, and business development. Outside of his business ventures, Jacob enjoys staying active, volunteering as a Big Brother, and pursuing education as a hobby.
